WWE SmackDown: Brock Lesnar breaks contract, heads to Monday Night RAW
This morning's WWE SmackDown added to the events of last morning's Crown Jewel PPV as Brock Lesnar left SmackDown to find Rey Mysterio in the next RAW. Read on.
We were only beginning to get over Thursday's Crown Jewel PPV when this morning's Friday Night SmackDown gave us more to think about. In a shocking turn of events, Brock Lesnar has gone rogue and left Friday Night SmackDown to take revenge for the beating he got at the hands of Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel. Have a look at what happened this morning.
No respect for contractual obligations
In a segment in this morning's SmackDown, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar stood in the centre of the ring as Heyman went on about how Brock was severely pissed about the beating he got at the hands of Rey Mysterio after his match against Cain Velasquez. Heyman further mentioned how Brock wanted a match with Rey Mysterio but Vince McMahon could not oblige since RAW and SmackDown superstars are bound by their contracts to be exclusive to their shows. Heyman emphasised that Lesnar had no respect for this contractual clause.
Heyman then revealed that Brock Lesnar will be leaving Friday Night SmackDown and will be seen on Monday when he goes to RAW to take care of Rey Mysterio. Lesnar smirked as Heyman insisted the WWE to try all their disciplinary measures as Brock Lesnar is not afraid of any of them. Stating all this, Lesnar and Heyman left the ring and left the arena as Triple H and Shawn Michaels looked at them walk away. It will be interesting to see what happens between the brands as Lesnar is also the holder of the WWE Championship which is SmackDown's Premier Title. It will also be interesting to see how Rey Mysterio reacts to Brock Lesnar, keeping in mind that Mysterio had not fully recovered from his injury.
