WWE recently announced an Intercontinental Championship match between the current champ Shinsuke Nakamura and the Big Dog, Roman Reigns. This match was announced when Sami Zayn took to Twitter and revealed that the choice to pick Roman Reigns first in the recently concluded WWE Draft over the Intercontinental Champion Nakamura was wrong. He said that Nakamura should have been the first pick and not the third. In the end, Zayn claimed the situation to be unreal and disrespectful to the Intercontinental champ.

Roman Reigns then responded to the tweet and said that if Shinsuke Nakamura and Zayn want to get from the third spot to face the first spot, they could find him on SmackDown. Roman Reigns also demanded Nakamura to bring along his Intercontinental Championship and fight him to know who is better. The Intercontinental Championship then joined the conversation and said that if Roman Reigns wants to play, then he will allow him to come to his yard indicating that Nakamura had accepted Reign's challenge.
