WWE SmackDown Results: 'OTC' Roman Reigns Storms Back to SmackDown! Demolishes Solo Sikoa's Crew

Friday Night SmackDown aired live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The latest episode of the Blue Brand featured all the fallout from the biggest party of the summer at the Cleveland Browns Stadium, the SummerSlam PLE in Cleveland, Ohio. The brand's top superstars like Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline 2.0, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, Kevin Owens Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair & more were featured on the show. • A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Qualifying Match): Street Profits win by pinfall with a Blockbuster Doomsday Device on Austin Theory, qualifying for a #1 contender’s match for the tag titles.
• Alba Fyre vs. Jade Cargill: Jade Cargill wins by pinfall with Jaded.
• Andrade el Idolo vs. Santos Escobar (WWE United States Championship #1 Contender’s Match): Santos Escobar wins by pinfall with a schoolboy and a handful of tights, becoming the #1 contender to the United States championship.
• #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) (WWE Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Qualifying Match): #DIY win by pinfall with Meet in the Middle on Elton Prince, qualifying for the WWE Tag Team Championship #1 contender’s match.

WWE SmackDown: Highlights of the Night

• Cody Rhodes opened the show and before he could properly begin to talk, Solo Sikoa came out to demand a re-match. But Cody denied it, leading to the Bloodline charging towards him. But KO comes out from behind with some equalizers in hand.
• The American Nightmare eventually revealed that his next challenger for the Undisputed Universal Championship would be KO, which the latter initially denied. But after Rhodes and GM Nick Aldis talked with him, he accepted.
• Bianca and Jade are overpowered by the trio of heels as Blair Davenport attacks. The babyface trio sends the heels packing after Naomi steps in to save the day.
• The Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno is in the show tonight as the cameras showed him as LA Knight entered with some new music.
• Roman Reigns makes his long-awaited return to Friday Nights and the fans went berserk when his music hit. Reigns came out with absolute aura, the OTC absolutely laid out Solo's henchmen before getting his hands on Solo. Roman gets slightly distracted seeing the sacred Ula Fala as Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. But Reigns overpowers them! He ends the show, standing tall as Solo Sikoa could do nothing but scream.
