WWE SmackDown: Upcoming episode is jeopardy as superstars stuck in UAE
WWE Superstars and employees are stuck in Riyadh due to a delay in flight. It is reported that they might miss the upcoming SmackDown episode for that.
WWE Superstars put down a massive night of action at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The country had their first-ever women’s match in the history of the with Natalya and Lacey Evans in the ring while Brock Lesnar managed to avenge his UFC loss against Cain Velasquez inside the WWE ring. However, the recent PPV - WWE Crown Jewel, can cost the WWE fans their upcoming SmackDown Live show due to a delay in flight.
WWE: WWE Superstars delayed in Saudi Arabia
According to reports, several WWE Superstars and employees were stuck on the plane the whole time due to a delay. After WWE Crown Jewel, the entire roster along with support staff and other employees were about to board a plane from Riyadh to Buffalo, USA, but it seems that they will touch the USA late. It has created unrest among wrestling fans and a lot of WWE Superstars might miss Friday Night SmackDown. It is a long flight and it almost takes 21 hours to reach from Riyadh to Buffalo and the delay in timing has surely created unrest.
According to reports in American media, 20 important employees were struck including WWE Superstars. It was also said that a mechanical issue in the fuel line in the plane is one of the reasons for the delay while there are rumours that the Dubai government wanted another customs clearance from WWE. WWE has already managed to rush out talents in one chartered plane and another chartered plane but the rest of the crew is still waiting for hours in Riyadh.

The upcoming episode of SmackDown is going to be very important but at the same time, it is in jeopardy. WWE's next PPV is Survivor Series which will take place in November and the upcoming episode will determine the turn in storylines.
