Many WWE superstars who were left stranded in Saudi Arabia after the Crown Jewel PPV on Thursday, arrived safely at the JFK Airport the following afternoon. The flight which the superstars were scheduled to board, reportedly faced a major mechanical problem and as a result, many of them were unable to make it to Friday Night SmackDown. However, WWE superstars are in revolt mode after WWE CEO Vince McMahon left them and flew back to the States in his private plane.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, many WWE Superstars felt deserted in Saudi Arabia after Vince McMahon left with his staff on an earlier flight. However, it is still unknown whether the WWE Chairman knew about the flight issue before living in a private jet. According to American media reports, wrestlers like Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan, Jimmy Hart, Ric Flair and Tyson Fury avoided being stranded in Saudi Arabia as they flew back home on private jets.

Here’s how WWE Superstars reacted

After this news went viral, WWE released a statement which reads, “Several superstars felt so strongly that they arranged for their own separate charter in order to make it back to the U.S. for the show.” After the release of this statement, some superstars felt insulted as they thought that the WWE believes that they are too lazy to make other travel arrangements. WWE superstars Eric Young, Curtis Axel, Scott Dawson and producer Tyson Kidd all reacted to WWE’s statement. WWE superstar and former tag team champion Luke Harper took to Instagram and revealed that he didn’t have enough money to pay for his own charter.
