A Donald Trump-themed iPhone 16 Pro is now available for $9,200
Caviar, a luxury smartphone customisation brand, has launched limited editions of the iPhone 16 Pro celebrating Donald Trump's victory in the US Elections 2024.
Donald Trump won the US Presidential Elections, leaving behind his Democratic counterpart Kamala Harris by a significant gap in votes. Trump's historic win to become the US President for the second time created ripples across industries -- for good and bad. The tech industry is no exception. Now, Caviar, a Dubai-based company that makes luxury customisations for high-end smartphones, has launched a Donald Trump-themed iPhone 16 Pro to celebrate his victory.
Available at a whopping cost of $9,200 (whereas the regular iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999), the Donald Trump-themed iPhone 16 Pro is called Trump Great Again, featuring an aerospace-grade titanium body with a water-resistant black PVD (physical vapour deposition) coating designed to showcase the Trump Tower's architectural essence. The company claims the red centre at the back of the model symbolises Trump's iconic red tie (a colour of the Republic Party) and his election ballot checkmark. The design includes an engraving at the top right corner that reads: "Great Again" -- referring to Trump's "Make America Great Again" catchphrase. It also has elements from the American flag.
The Trump Great Again iPhone 16 Pro model is a part of Caviar's new Visionaries Collection, which also features options such as the Musk Be On Mars Edition, highlighting the world's richest man, Elon Musk's dream to colonise Mars, and the Steve Jobs iPhone 16 Pro, which pays homage to late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. While both models are made of the same materials as the Trump-themed iPhone 16 Pro, they sport different designs to highlight the achievements of Musk and Jobs accordingly.
The Musk edition features a SpaceX Starship on the back in space black colour along with laser-engraved space landscapes and a bas-relief of the Dragon spacecraft. It also has Musk's name and signature engraved towards the bottom for a personal touch. On the other hand, the Steve Jobs edition features a gold-coloured engraving for the Apple logo, while an electroplated gold design resembles that of a printed circuit board (PCB) of the iPhone 16 Pro. It also has Steve Jobs' signature below the logo.
The Musk- and Jobs-themed iPhone 16 Pro custom models cost $9,990 and $9,340, respectively for the base storage. Their Pro Max versions are also available, but Caviar said it has produced only 99 units of each model.
