Apex Legends which is the newest entrant to the battle royale gaming scene could take you by surprise with its position in the most talked about Games during the Q1 2019 time period on Twitter. Check out below to know the relatively new position of Apex Legends as far as conversations around the title on Twitter are concerned.
Apex Legends
Firstly, as per Rishi Chadha who is head of gaming content partnerships at Twitter closely tracking gaming-related developments on the micro-blogging site, Apex Legends featured amongst the five most talked about games in the United States of America (US) so far in 2019. The battle royale title also bested Player unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) in this category and this list is dominated by Fortnite.
Then, Chadha credits honourable mentions to Apex Legends as the title reportedly leap-frogged to the 11th position in global trends. These numbers are seemingly good, as per Chadha. Here, it is worth noting that it has been just more than a month and a half since Apex Legends came to the fore and the title has been onboarding players drastically.
The other games - directly the 5 most talked about games on Twitter in the universe
Topping the list of the 5 most talked about games on Twitter, Fate/Grand Order is numero-uno. Fortnite is in the second position behind Fate/Grand Order. PUBG finds the fourth position. The second and fifth rankings are held by Granblue Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts respectively.
Is there competition
There Definitely is healthy competition in the battle-royale gaming segment. But does this necessarily account for a PUBG vs Apex Legends war? What do you think?
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
As far as PUBG is concerned, its desktop variant continue sits hide and seek games in India. The game, promising to offer important PUBG experience on even low-end computers has so far reached even countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos; and also major gaming hubs viz Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. India is definitely a popular hub as far as key technology is concerned, and with the country’s players also having lapped up the game despite its recent negative news, we definitely think PUBG Lite should have first reached India before the other Asian regions; do share your thoughts in our comments section below.
