OnePlus' mobile payment wallet OnePlus Pay launching next year
OnePlus Pay app launch: Chinese smartphone company OnePlus is working to introduce OnePlus Pay - the company's mobile payment wallet - sometime next year.

Chinese smartphone company OnePlus is working to introduce OnePlus Pay - the company's mobile payment wallet - sometime next year. OnePlus announced during the event in New Delhi on Thursday evening that the OnePlus Pay will be launched at some point in 2020.
"There’s a very fantastic product we’ve been working on for a little over a year now. I couldn’t be more excited to tell you guys that starting sometime next year, you will no longer need your physical wallet as we are announcing OnePlus Pay," said Szymon Kopec, the head of the Software Product Growth division at OnePlus
Although details about OnePlus Pay are scarce, we can expect OnePlus' upcoming mobile payment wallet to compete with the likes of solutions from its direct competitors. In May, Xiaomi launched Mi Pay in India. More details are awaited as to what all banks will OnePlus Pay will support or what technology it will be using. But in India, it will likely support UPI-enabled payment transactions.
OnePlus 7T, OnePlus TV launched
During the event on Thursday, OnePlus also unveiled the OnePlus 7T in India. The base variant of OnePlus 7T with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at Rs. 37,999 and one with 256 GB storage are priced at Rs. 39,999.
Specs-wise, OnePlus 7T sports an AMOLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It features Fluid Display supporting HDR10+ on Netflix. There’s also HDR support for YouTube and Amazon Prime Video. OnePlus claims 23 per cent faster charging on OnePlus 7T. OnePlus 7T offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. OnePlus 7T runs Android 10 out of the box.
OnePlus 7T features a frosted glass at the back. OnePlus 7T will be available in two colour options: Glacier Blue and Frosted Glass. There's a circular camera design housing triple rear camera system. OnePlus 7T features a 48MP primary camera coupled with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2x telephoto lens for bokeh effects. Powering the OnePlus 7T is Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 855+ SoC.
OnePlus also unveiled OnePlus TV in India. Android TV platform powers OnePlus TV. There's a smart remote controller that can be charged a C-type charger. It sports a 55-inch 4K QLED display and 50W speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. OnePlus TV starts at Rs 69,990 in India.
