Vodafone Idea users can now stream premium SonyLIV shows and movies at no extra cost

Vodafone has partnered with Sony's video on demand service SonyLIV. This partnership will provide Vodafone Idea users with access to SonyLIV exclusive digital content in Hindi and English. As a result of this partnership, Vodafone Idea users can stream premium SonyLIV content through 'Vodafone Play' and 'Idea Movies & TV' apps at no additional cost. This partnership is expected to maximise SonyLIV's viewership.

The product catalogue includes a vast range of movies, original shows, short format shows across different genres. It also includes shows from Sony Entertainment Channel and Sab TV such as The Kapil Sharma Show, Vighnaharta Ganesh, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Crime Patrol dial 100, Crime Patrol Satark, to name a few.

The Hindi movie catalogue includes Baahubali 1 and 2, Piku, PK, Queen, Azhar, 3 Idiots. Meanwhile, the English language shows include The Good Doctor, Counterpart, Damages, and Snatch among others, as well as Power, White Queen and Houdini to name a few.

Vodafone recently added a new Rs 999 yearly recharge plan that offers 12GB data during its entire duration of 365 days. Other than data, it comes with certain other benefits like unlimited voice calls and daily 100 SMS. It also offers free, unlimited roaming without charging users anything extra.

‘Vodafone Play’ app also has live TV channels, international TV shows and exclusive original web series, in addition to movies across several languages. Idea Movies & TV app, on the other hand, has movies and TV channels that cater to different age groups.
