With the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro now hours away from its launch in India (slated for November 23), loyalists expect the handset to not just emulate the value-for-money predecessors from Xiaomi, but also to dominate the mid-range smartphone segment in India amidst stiff competition from the likes of Motorola, Oppo, Vivo, and Micromax.

Once released, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro would be a Flipkart exclusive and its pirce tag is slated to be in the sub INR 18000 range Now, ahead of its November 22 launch in India, let us look at  3 reasons why it is worth buying as a mid-range premium smartphone in India at its probable sub INR 20K pricing:

Multiple front and rear cameras: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro sports dual rear and two front cameras thereby making it a four camera package. Now, USP of such an arrangement is the fact that it could do well to appeal to the amateur photographers who could find the dual LED flash handy especially while shooting outdoor scenes in less than normal lighting. The Redmi Note 6 Pro also sports 20 MP and 2MP front cameras which could appeal not only to selfie enthusiast but also to those seeking crystal clear amplification of details during video calling. Hence, the four cameras offered by the handset should, at least theoretically, appeal to the multimedia enthusiasts.

Xiaomi premier UI experience, based enjoyed on a premium phone: The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 UI on top. Now, the Xiaomi interface is known for adding multiple degrees of smoothness and ease of usage to the overall software UI thereby making the operation intuitive. MIUI 9 is best experienced on a premium mid-range phones and high-end handsets, rather than on budget devices (due to hardware limitations). Hence, we expect a fairly enhanced degree of intuitivity on the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Fast Charging capability: Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. Now, this is known to support the Qualcomm QuickCharge 4 technology that is known to charge up the battery comparatively quickly. Hence, with the smartphone seemingly doubling up as a multimedia device (when its technical specifications are taken into consideration), it becomes imminent to have faster charging so as not to miss out on multimedia content consumption. Hence, this feature is seemingly a USP of the handset.
