Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2019 is set for June 3. The five-day-long developer conference ends June 7 and will be taking place at the McEnery Convention Centre in San Jose. Apple is expected to make a slew of announcements, right from iOS, watchOS to tvOS and macOS.

The tagline for Apple WWDC 2019 reads "Write code. Blow minds." The teaser image contains an animated representation of a robot with a head blown by various tools used by developers like Swift and Xcode.

Here's what to expect

iOS 13

The main attraction of this year's WWDC is expected to be the introduction of iOS 13. Unlike Android, iOS has always been a tightly controlled ecosystem and the company has billions of users. With iOS 13, a drastic redesign and performance increase are expected.

The iOS 13 is also expected to introduce a system-wide dark mode like macOS 10.14 Mojave. Reports have it that iOS 13 could also bring some AirPower-specific features. New experience and improvements for iPad users could also be on the cards.

macOS 10.15

macOS is Apple's oldest of all operating system platforms powering Mac and MacBook line-ups. Apple is expected to unveil macOS 10.15. macOS 10.15 is expected to enable unification of iOS and macOS apps. Back in 2017, Bloomberg had reported that Apple is planning to people use a single set of apps that "work equally well across its family of devices: iPhones, iPads and Macs.”

watchOS 6

Apple's upcoming watchOS 6 is expected to accommodate many new features like such as multi-user competitions, always-on display, Face ID, sleep tracking, new Apple Watch apps and more watch faces. We are expecting some more details as the conference nears.

tvOS 13

Here's the list of new updates and improvements tvOS 13 is expected to introduce: Dolby Atmos support, some new screensavers, remote app etc. For developers, Apple is expected to bring a new framework for common user interface items. In addition, tvOS 12 is also expected to bring TVML to conditionally display elements via data binding.
