The newly Samsung Galaxy A16 5G succeeds the Galaxy A15 5G that arrived in India earlier this year and it joins the company's A-series devices, which also includes the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A55 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A06 to name a few. Some of the key features of the Galaxy A16 6G are six years of operating updates, and fast charging support. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G competes with the likes of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite and the Redmi 13 Pro to name a few.Samsung Galaxy A16 5G: India price and availabilityThe Samsung Galaxy A16 5G comes in two variants in India. The base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space costs Rs 18,999, while the top variant of the device with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space costs Rs 20,999. Interested buyers can pick from Light Green, Gold and Blue Black colour variants. It will be available for purchase in India via Samsung's official website in India, Amazon India, Flipkart and retail outlets starting today.Samsung Galaxy A16 5G: Specifications and top featuresComing to specifications and features, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G comes with 6.9-inch full-HD+ super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 1080 x 2340 resolution. The phone is protected by IP54 dust and water resistant coating, which makes it immune to occassional splashes of water.In the core, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip (SoC) that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. This space can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 1TB of space. This smartphone runs Android 14-based One UI 6.0.
