After Big Billion Days, Flipkart's Big Diwali Sale to begin October 12

Walmart-owned Flipkart has announced its 5-day Big Diwali Sale will start from October 12. Flipkart Big Billion Days got over last week, which was the first phase of Flipkart's festive sales this year. Now, Flipkart's next phase of festive sales is to begin October 12 next week. If you are a Flipkart Plus users, you get four hours of early access starting 8 PM on October 11. But there is so much more to it!

Flipkart Big Diwali sale will include deals and discounts on a wide range of products across various categories. For example, consumer electronics, home appliances, fashion and clothing, furniture, beauty, lifestyle, books, etc. You can also make use of multiple payment options like No Cost EMI and Flipkart Pay Later. SBI bank Credit cardholders are eligible for an instant 10% discount on all transactions.

Flipkart claims to offer discounts on smartphones including BuyBack Guarantee and complete mobile protection. Flipkart is expected to offer discounts on the following smartphones: Redmi 7S, Realme 5, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme C2. Given their recent success with Big Billion Days sale, smartphones category is also expected to play a very huge role in Flipkart Big Diwali sale this time around.

Flipkart sees strong demand for smartphones from tier-II and III towns

Earlier, Flipkart said it witnessed strong demand from tier II and tier III towns for products such as mobile phones and large consumer electronics appliances during the Big Billion Days sale. As consumers from these cities upgrade, they are coming at par with the metros showcasing unique needs and spending patterns across these categories, Flipkart had said. Flipkart also saw 50 per cent growth in terms of new users shopping on the platform, as compared to its previous year's sale.

Apart from smartphones, Flipkart Brands promises up to 90 per cent discount on products across more than 350 categories and more than 2 lakh selection. You can avail an additional 15 per cent off on clothing, beauty, home decor and more. Additional discounts on mobile phones, TVs and electronics can be availed at 12 AM, 8 AM and 4 PM every day.
