Budget Android One Nokia Handset Could Be In The Showcase Pipeline, Smartphone Receives FCC Certification
A Nokia smartphone bearing model number TA-1157 has received FCC certification. Rumours are stating that this phone would be an entry-level device slated for launch on February 24.
There could be a new Nokia smartphone slated for launch in the near future, as a new handset from the Finnish smartphone has now said to have received FCC certifications. This smartphone could also fall into the entry-level category.
As per FCC filing reports, a phone by HMD Global bearing model number TA-1157 is listed; which means that this device has received the required FCC certifications. Now, this development naturally hints at the fact that the Nokia smartphone bearing model number TA-1157 could be in the launch pipeline.
With respect to this apparent Nokia smartphone, rumour mills are intensely hinting at the launch of the device before the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) that is slated to take place from February 25 in Barcelona, Spain. Here, it is worth noting that the Nokia 9 PureView is also slated to be launched during the MWC 2019.
Now, as far as the latest Nokia handset, having received FCC certification is concerned, multiple key technical specifications of the hardware have also surfaced; going by these, the phone would be LTE-compatible along with offering reverse compatibility (with older wireless network standards).
Other information, about the above Nokia smartphone, is yet to surface; but rumour mills are intensely rife at this juncture about the technical aspects incorporated to cater to those desirous of buying an entry-level smartphone. Now, this handset could be driven by Android One. The key technical aspects of this phone could come to the fore officially, in the near future, as an FCC certification potentially hints at the launch of the device; not necessarily confirming it.
In related Nokia updates, a 6GB RAM - 128GB internal storage variant has recently been made live for India. With the USP of the Nokia 8.1, in general, being its Snapdragon 710 SoC long with 12 MP and 13 MP dual rear cameras that come with Zeiss Optics, it should do no harm to consider that the smartphone could potentially lie on the minds of smartphone buyers (preferably the first timers) in India.
