Google Trends data shows 'OnePlus' has been more popular than 'Xiaomi' in India in the last 12 months (September 30, 2018 - September 27, 2019). While both OnePlus and Xiaomi continue to produce some of the best-selling smartphones in their respective price markets, Indians appear to be more interested in searching for OnePlus keyword than Xiaomi.
