New HTC Desire 12s launched! Here are the full specs and price

HTC Desire 12s has two variants to choose from 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The 4GB RAM variant of HTC Desire 12s is priced at TWD 6,990 (approximately Rs 16,200).

Following the launch of HTC Desire 12 in the past, Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has made the Desire 12s available for grabs in Taiwan. HTC Desire 12s happens to a toned-down version of HTC Desire 12, which starts at TWD 5,990 for 3GB of RAM (approximately Rs 13,990).

HTC Desire 12s has two variants to choose from 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The 4GB RAM variant of HTC Desire 12s is priced at TWD 6,990 (approximately Rs 16,200).

The handset has pretty thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display. It flaunts a half-textured rear panel and rear-mounted fingerprint reader. It features a protruding single camera unit on the rear. HTC Desire 12s will be available in multiple colour options: Black, Silver and Red. The handset runs Android Oreo.

As for hardware features and technical specs, HTC Desire 12s sports a 5.7-inch HD+ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor coupled with either of 3GB or 4GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB expandable storage respectively.

As far as camera specifications are concerned, the Desire 12s houses a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording. Up front is a 13MP selfie camera.

HTC Desire 12s packs a 3,075mAh battery under the hood. The standard set of supported sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass sensor, magnetic sensor and a proximity sensor. The handset weighs in at 150 g and measures 8.3mm.
