New Vodafone Rs 396 Plan Now Said To Be Live In Select Circles, Offering Unlimited Benefits

A new Rs 396 plan from Vodafone is now said to be live. This offers unlimited calling along with a host of other benefits.

Now, the incumbent telco has announced an annual recharge plan that is currently restricted to the Mumbai circle and would eventually spread out to other telecom circles. The benefits offered by Vodafone’s new Rs 396 plans are unlimited free calling along with 1.4GB 4G data per day and 100 free text messages. AT this juncture, TelecomTalk states that the Vodafone Rs 396 plan is live only in the Mumbai-Delhi telecom circles.

However, it is worth noting that the Rs 396 plan with a validity of 69 days could be a potential indicator of new recharge plans to come to the fore from Vodafone. Also, this could herald a new beginning in the Indian telecom sector considering the fact that long validity recharges such as 365-day validity plans for prepaid subscribers (across telcos) have seemingly shown indications of turning out to be the next major trend in the telecom sector.

Now, whether this has anything to do with the emergence and penetration of Reliance Jio is not known at this point; but this is unlikely considering the fact that the interests (overall interests) and budgets of the Indian prepaid mobile subscriber is seemingly maintained and value-for-money offered with the benefits (offered) of long validity prepaid plans.

At this juncture, Vodafone offers custom recharge plans for users in different circles. The latest in line has been the Rs 398 plan that is offered for select subscribers in the Karnataka circle. This scheme comes with benefits such as unlimited voice calls restricted to 250 minutes per day) along with 1GB 4G data and 100 free text messages in a day. The validity of this plan is 84 days. Hence, we expect that there could be a new revolution as far as offering maximum benefits at affordable prices to prepaid mobile customers is concerned.
