OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users set to receive Android 10 OS update very soon

The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G edition – a global one, would receive Android 10 operating system as an update every soon. OnePlus has now officially shared this development. If you are a global user of the 5G-compatible OnePlus 7 Pro high-end smartphones, then Q1 2020 is the timeline you need to keep in mind.  

Android 10 OS update for OnePlus 7 Pro

At this point in time, OnePlus in an official forum posting states that it has given an ear to the concerns raised by OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users. This is concerning the seeding of the Android 10 OS update to the premium smartphone. Hence, OnePlus has now stated that this process would begin by Q1 2020 – which is not too far away from now.  

Also, at this juncture, both the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnepLus 7 – both of which are LTE-compatible are now receiving the Android 10 OS update. If you are a user of these handsets, do manually check for the new updates by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Check for updates.  

“This is an arduous and time-consuming process that wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners Qualcomm and wireless operators. But we promise that in this exciting new 5G era, OnePlus will undoubtedly overcome these obstacles and deliver the latest operating system for your 5G smartphones as soon as it is ready,” states OnePlus in an official forum post. 

Hence, you should now remember that the research and development, along with in-house compatibility testing is now being carried out at OnePlus’ laboratories. This is expected to reach its last phase soon, thereby you could keep your eyes and ears open for the new Android 10 OS update (for OnePlus 7 Pro 5G).
