Realme 5 gets new update to correct battery issue, plus newer enhancements 

The Realme 5 is now receiving a new update and this introduces multiple newer enhancements. If you are Realme 5 users, you should now get to check out newer OTA notifications. In case you have not received newer OTA signs, then you could check out manually for newer updates as well.  

The Realme 5 newer update 

Now, the new update, to the Realme 5 is a phased one. This means that it could still take time for all the Realme 5 phones to receive the update. You should check out the version number RMX1911EX_11_A.18 that the update bears. USP of this new update is that it incorporates fixes to the battery issue that resulted in it not getting fully charged. ● Added Dark Mode 

● Added option for notification dots for updates 

Notification Center and Status Bar 

● Removed the reminder after hotspot has been enabled 

● Added fast switch toggle between SIMs in notification centre 

● Swipe left or right to dismiss message notifications 

● Added option to swipe down on home screen for global search or notification centre  

In related news, the Realme X2 is slated to be available in India, for buying, from 20 November. This would be a Flipkart-exclusive. USP of this specific handset is its 64MP rear camera.
