Samsung Galaxy S10 India launch soon as notify-me pages go live on Flipkart and e-shop

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is coming soon to India and much like its predecessor, the Galaxy S9, Samsung’s next-generation flagship will be also available online from Flipkart, in addition to the company’s e-shop and various other offline sales channels. Both Flipkart and Samsung’s e-shop have started teasing the Galaxy S10 launch with a dedicated notify-me/register your interest page on their respective platforms seemingly confirming an imminent launch soon. 

Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S10 at its Unpacked 2019 keynote event in San Francisco on February 20. It is expected to kick-off pre-orders from the next day itself, probably 12AM February 21 (in US time) and shipping is expected to commence from March 8. Samsung is known to bring its flagship Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phones to India just days after their global launch, at least that’s how it has been lately. The Galaxy S9, to recall, was made available for buying in India on the same day it was made available globally in March last year. 

Therefore, a launch in the first week of March for the Galaxy S10 cannot be ruled out. The notify-me/register your interest pages on Flipkart and Samsung’s e-shop (that have gone live almost 10 days ahead of the Galaxy S10 global launch) only go to reiterate India’s significance as a global market for the company in question. This comes soon after Samsung launched the India-first Galaxy M-series phones in India and with the Galaxy S10, the company will indeed be looking to maintain the momentum. 

Samsung will reportedly launch the Galaxy S10 in India on March 6 and start shipping from March 15. The company is expected to launch as many as three new phones this year, the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10E which is said to be Samsung’s take on the iPhone XR. Prices will reportedly start at roughly around Rs 50,000 for the Galaxy S10E, going all the way to around Rs 1 lakh for the top-end Galaxy S10+ model.
