Stars Set To Grace PUBG Mobile PMCO 2019 India Finals

UBG Mobile Club Open 2019 India Finals is slated to take place in New Delhi at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex on 14 June and 15 June. Abish Mathew returns to the battlefield as the resident EMCEE for PUBG Mobile .

Stars Set To Grace PUBG Mobile PMCO 2019 India Finals

The PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile’s (PUBG Mobile) aka PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 India Finals is slated to take place in New Delhi at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex on 14 June and 15 June. This accords an opportunity to represent India at the global stage and win a total prize pool of PMCO 2019’s $2.5 million. As many as 16 elite teams from the country would battle it out.  

After two weeks of nail-biting semi-finals, top teams of the likes of Team SOUL, Team HYDRA, Team Insidious and The Brawlers have dominated the competition so far. However, all teams that have qualified have shown remarkable skill throughout the competition. Smartphone brand Vivo has been the official title sponsor of PMCO 2019. 

In this regard, there is now a touch of glamour to the competition, PUBG MOBILE has put together a star cast of presenters this time around both for the English and the vernacular stream. Taking center-stage, Abish Mathew will once again be entrusted with duties of the ringmaster. 

English Commentators: 

To begin with, there is esports legend Jason Kaplan. Known for his YouTube web shows "Ult in Ten" and "Rift Myths", Jason began his casting career back in the day, casting for Counter Strike: Source. Starting of by playing League of Legends and he eventually moved to a career of casting League of Legends tournaments in January of 2012. Later on, he was offered a position by ESL to become a main caster for them. 

 There is also local flavour as well – in the form of  Sudhen "Bleh" Wahengbam, a well-known Counter-Strike: Global Offensive commentator and analyst will also be part of this epic ensemble. He is considered one of the few important figures who have been vocal about working towards the development of the esports ecosystem in India. 

 All the way from North London and the youngest of the lot, Alex "Snodz" Byfield is all set to join the panel.  Former TeamEndpoint, Alex made his name as an AWPer on many occaisions playing for the clan, most notable being their ESEA Season 24: Premier. In the past he has commented for and has worked with ESL, Gfinity and PGLesports. 

 Hindi Commentators: 

PUBG MOBILE brought on board Vageesh Bhan, who is a renowned Voice Talent and Content Creator. Starting off at Radio One, he used to host the weekend show while also producing the evening drive-time show. His most recent gig was as Lead Talent and Director of Video Production for ESL India/Nodwin Gaming. Fun fact, he has appeared in the popular music video called "Oopar Oopar Renn De".  

Then, there is the 23-year-old Mannu Karki who is a household name in the esports ecosystem in India, having been part off and/or commented for top CS: GO and DOTA 2 tournaments in the country. Krat is part of the Nodwin line up, primarily associated with ESL India Premiership. 

Finally, there is Dharam Kundra, popularly known by his gaming moniker ‘King Charlie’ who made his mark as a caster for the Rage Quit Cup. Starting in 2014, his deep knowledge of DOTA made his want to try his hand at becoming a caster. Over the years, he’s been part of several MMORPG tournaments, such as - Join DOTA League Season 1, 2 and 3(casted the semis and finals as well for s2 and 3), Starladder s4 and 5, Amateur DOTA League Season, Cevo Season Cup. 

For PUBG loyalists wanting to catch the action live in Delhi, free entry to attend the India Finals can be availed at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi, on a first-come-first-serve basis. For viewers in other cities, PUBG MOBILE has created special YouTube reward crates; viewers receive guaranteed crates for viewing the in-game stream, starting at 2 PM on both days.
