There is a chance to win free cash provided you are ready to live without your smartphone; and only think about it; for an entire year. The cash offered under this scheme amounts to as much as $100,000. If you think you could stay away from your smartphone handsets then do enter the contest mentioned below.

Vitaminwater, which is an affiliate of Coca-Cola is now letting smartphone users enter a contest wherein you could share on Instagram your ideas on a smartphone-free life; essentially detailing how you would prefer to utilize your non-smartphone time. You could use social media platforms viz Twitter and Instagram to share your stories; for this, Vitaminwater has created a custom hashtag #nophoneforayear; you could tag that and present your ideas.

Once  your idea of an year without smartphones is approved, you get to enter the contest where you would be provided a basic feature phone to make/receive calls and check out text messages. After the end of the one-year period, you would be subjected to a “lie-detector test” to check genuineness of your having lived without your smartphones for a year claim.

Once you enter into the contest, you could use computers; both desktops and laptops; along with voice assistants present within devices that are not smartphones. Even tablets are not allowed to be used as you would be bound under a contract with Vitaminwater for a period of 365 days.

In case you last 6 months into the contract, you would be eligible for a $10,000 reward. Here, you could prefer to withdraw as well (after 6 months) in case you have met all other eligibility criteria. The feature phone offered to you would contain prepaid monthly subscription plans.
