Vodafone reiterates it wont add IUC to unlimited outgoing calls

Vodafone India reiterates that it won't burden customers with additional IUC for unlimited calls. Unlimited calls would stay as it is. Check out now.

Vodafone India, amidst the ongoing debates about IUC in which Reliance Jio has already stated that it would charge 6 paise per minute for outgoing calls made to other networks, has again reiterated its commitment to not pass on the IUC burden to its customers. The telco has stated that it has been paying its share to the other operators – on which outgoing voice calls are placed to. IUC charges are paid by operators to other recipient operators.  

Vodafone's affirmation about truly unlimited calls

Now, Vodafone, in a new statement on Twitter has stated that customers on unlimited plans need not fret about paying extra IUC charges. The telco has also stated that it has been keeping up its promise of making outgoing calls, even to other networks, completely free upon recharge of custom packs. This means that all Vodafone customers may not worry about being charged extra IUC, upon availing the unlimited free calls plans. Non-unlimited calls subscribers would be charged as per the base rates. Check out Vodafone’s new statement, below, along with that of netizens (Twitterati) below: 

At this instant, Reliance Jio has also come up with a whole list of IUC -specific recharges that its customers could avail to enjoy fre minutes of voice calling.
