Xiaomi is updating its value flagship Redmi Note 7 Pro with a new 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant ahead of the Redmi K20 series India launch. The Redmi Note 7 Pro 6GB/64GB variant has been launched in India at a price of Rs 15,999 and will go on sale for the first time tomorrow (July 3) via Flipkart and Mi.com/in online store. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is also available in 4GB RAM/64GB and 6GB/128GB configurations for Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively.

The main USP of the Redmi Note 7 Pro is its 48MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX586 image sensor - the Redmi Note 7 Pro is currently the cheapest phone in India with this camera. Also, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, making it one of the most powerful phones in India at its price.

Elsewhere, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3-inch LTPS 1080p+ display with a teardrop/waterdrop style notch. The secondary sensor in the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a 5MP and is used for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 13MP camera. The Redmi Note 7 Pro further packs a 4,000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 through USB Type-C.

In other news, Xiaomi is gearing to launch its Redmi K20 series (Redmi K20+Redmi K20 Pro) in India by mid-July. Also, Xiaomi will launch the entry-level Redmi 7A in India on July 4, it has confirmed. The Redmi 7A will be sold via Flipkart, but going by Xiaomi’s track record, it should be available for buying from Mi.com/in as well – as well as from Mi Home and other Mi offline stores in the days to come. Also, going by the history of these phones, we can totally expect the Redmi 7A to cost around Rs 6,000 in India.

A follow-up to last year’s Redmi 6A, the Redmi 7A brings features like a big battery and splash-resistance to the entry-level phone segment.
