Indigo has launched a new offer for its domestic and international flyers where they can get a free membership of Spotify Premium -- the streaming giant's paid tier that offers users an ad-free experience and the ability to listen to music in the highest quality. The free subscription for eligible flight bookings is part of a partnership between the low-cost airline and the global streaming giant to boost travel through music.

The partnership also entails dedicated travel playlists on Spotify, which Indigo flyers can listen to and add to their accounts. They can also create custom playlists based on their destination. For instance, a playlist for Goa or Jaipur.

Indigo's Spotify Premium offer

According to the Indigo website, any customer booking domestic or international flights between October 4, 2024, and October 3, 2025, will be eligible for a four-month trial of Spotify Premium Individual Plan at no cost. The offer will be available for a PNR, irrespective of the number of tickets, and will apply to only new and unique users. In other words, those who already have or previously enjoyed a Spotify Premium subscription will not be eligible for the free trial.

How to get four months of free Spotify Premium

After a customer has generated a PNR for a flight booking, they will receive an email on their registered email address should they qualify for the offer. The email will guide the customer on using the offer, including steps to visit the offer page on Spotify's website. However, the offer will be up for grabs during the offer period and up to two months after the offer. The company also said that cancellation of a flight booking would also forfeit the offer.

Once the trial ends, the user will be automatically charged a month's fee for the Individual Plan, which is Rs 119. They can also choose not to renew the subscription after the trial by cancelling it anytime.
