Moving from Android to iOS can appear to be an overwhelming task, largely because the two operating systems are mostly incompatible. That means there is no interoperability between the two mobile platforms, requiring users to make additional efforts in case they have to transfer data from an Android smartphone to an iPhone. The data that they might want to transfer may also include their favourite tunes, particularly the ones stored on a device.
Thankfully, Apple offers a handy tool that allows a seamless data transfer between an Android phone and an iPhone. The Move to iOS app available on Android allows users to transfer important data. However, there are other ways to move favourite music from an Android phone to an iPhone.
Using Move to iOS
-- Download the Move to iOS app on the Android phone.
-- Begin the setup process on the iPhone (If the iPhone is already set up, users must reset it and start the setup process again.)
-- Connect devices by following the on-screen instructions using Wi-Fi or a cable.
-- Choose the data and begin transferring it after verifying it with a code.
Manual Transfer
-- Connect an Android device to a PC using a cable.
-- Copy or move all the music files from the device to the PC inside a folder.
-- Connect the iPhone to the PC using a cable and download the Apple Music app or iTunes app.
-- Start synchronising using the software to transfer music from the PC to the iPhone.
Cloud Storage
-- Upload music files to a cloud storage, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive, as it offes a convenient way to upload files.
-- Download the files on the iPhone from the preferred cloud service.
