Samsung recently launched a new Tinder-like dating app called Refridgerdating, ahead of Valentine's day. Refridgerdating works with Samsung's Family Hub Refrigerator and takes photos of shelves. All you have to do is swipe in order to match with other Refridgerdaters based on what they have inside their fridge.

Samsung's Refridgerdating is first of its kind dating app to boast of such a unique idea to match singles, and as Valentine's day is less than 10 days away, singles probably need this app.

As for the main attraction of Refridgerdating, it works with Samsung's Family Hub Refrigerator, which lets users monitor what they have inside their fridge using their phone.

"We hope people can meet under more honest or transparent circumstances with the help of the contents of the fridge because that can tell you a lot about the personality," said Elin Axelsson, PR manager at Samsung Electronics Nordic based in Sweden.

How Samsung's Refridgerdating works

Refridgerdating takes a photo of the inside of the fridge and shares and displays to other Samsung fridge users. Refridgerdaters can then decide whether they want to swipe right or left. In a nutshell, Refridgerdating is designed to allow users to match with others based on their food preferences.Refridgerdating app is also compatible with Samsung's smart assistant Bixby.

Social media giant Facebook is also readying their dating app. In August, Facebook started testing its dating app internally with employees who have opted-in to dogfooding it. However, we have no information on when Facebook dating will be available to all users in India.

Refridgerdating app is also compatible with Samsung's smart assistant Bixby. So all you got to do to score the perfect date this valentine's day is to stock up your refrigerator!
