Fortnite is set to receive bots in the next season, via a new update. These bots would be similar to actual players whilst helping the actual players improve their in-game combat skills. Better the player skill – with matchmaking, lesser would be the number of bots. Then, there is also confirmed to be a new 10.40 update to Fortnite coming shortly. This update would focus on match-making.
Fortnite new update
Officially confirming the newer updates, Fortnite states that the new match-making update – with improved match-making logic would be applicable to the Battle Royale mode to create comparatively fair matches. This means that in case you are a player, you would get to do battle with players possessing similar skillsets. This is expected to potentially even out the odds when it comes to indulging in fair gameplay – with fairly rated opponents (based on skillset). This update would be rolled out to all Fortnite players very soon.
New bots update gets netizens excited
“Since Battle Royale launched, the matchmaking strategy for our core modes has remained mostly unchanged. Over the past two years, however, the range of player skill has grown considerably. In Arena, we use Hype-based matchmaking to ensure players are matched evenly across platforms,” stated Fortnite developers in an official blog post. Also, ever since Fortnite announced newer matchmaking updates, netizens (Twitterati) cannot seem to hide their excitement towards testing out the new functionality. Check out some Twitter reactions in this regard.
I like the update but the bots are kinds not good. I like the update though, all you gotta to do is get gud to not 1v1 bots and you can barly cheat with queueing in same solos. All in all this will be kinda great

I wonder since their attempting to make Match Making more "fair" does this mean they're adding syphon and increased farm rates(like Arena) to the regular game?! Since "aggressive play styles" should be less of a problem for lesser skilled players to deal with.
