Google is working to bring some major changes and feature to Chrome browser for mobile and desktop. Of late, Chrome Google has been adding new features. Recently, we showed you how to easily share web pages between your devices using Google Chrome. Upcoming Google Chrome features will help users improve their productivity. Additionally, Google Chrome is also adding some new customisation features to its platform. Google revealed new features that are coming to Chrome this fall. We take a look:
New customisations
Google is adding a new customisation feature to Chrome. The feature will allow you to change the background of your new tab page to a design featuring a colourful combination. At the bottom right corner, you will see a button called 'Customize.' A new pop-up box will appear. Besides a background, it will also provide users with a new option to customise 'Color and theme' For now, 'Customize' option allows users to change a background image on new tabs.
Help from Chrome's address bar, translations
Chrome browser allows users to get answers faster through its address bar. Both desktop and Android version of Chrome web browser will show answers right inside the address bar. This feature appears to have gone live for desktop users. Additionally, Chrome automatically prompts translations upon detecting non-English web pages.
New grid layout on Android
Google Chrome for Android is adding a new grid layout over the next few weeks. It will help users select tabs more easily and preview thumbnails of the tabs you have open. iOS users already have tab grid layout. It also provides users with a new way to group different tabs on Android. It will help users keep track of the open tabs. All you need to do is drag and drop one tab on top of another. You can easily switch between tabs in using the new tab switcher at the bottom of your screen.
