Indian Tigers Win Hearts On Day 2 Of PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Preliminaries, But Fall Short, Team SOUL Still Carrying Indian Expectations in 26 July Finals
Team SOUL is now India's only hope at the finals to be held in Berlin on 26 July.
After Day 2 of the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) preliminaries, the Indian contingent though playing remotely from a New Delhi office finished sixth, thereby missing out qualification to the finals by a whisker. This is the team of Indian Tigers, having finished sixth after putting up quite a show.
The other Indian representation in the PMCO 2019 preliminaries – TeamIND finished twelfth. Both teams have missed out on a golden qualification opportunity for the finals of the eSports tournament that takes place in Berlin from 26 July – 28 July. As of now, the list of teams having qualified for the finals – after day 2 of the preliminaries of the PMCO is Purple Mood (First), XQuestF (Second), Top ESports (Third), Team Quesso (Fourth), and All Rejection Gaming (Fifth).
There is still hope for India – Not everything is lost
Team SOUL which emerged as the regional champions has qualified directly for the finals. However, the team’ visa to Germany was denied by authorities; as of now, both gamers, as well as supporters of Team SOUL, could emerge happy in case their visas are obtained in some way.
Hence, the Indian hope is still alive. Earlier, as soon as the visa rejection news spread, netizens were united in their stand to have authoritative intervention towards assisting Team SOUL in obtaining visas to personally participate in the 26 July finals in Berlin.
