PMCO 2019 Fall Split offers India more chances at global eSports crown
India would be competing, under the South Asia region, in the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Fall Split tournament. The eSports event is currently underway.

India has another tournament to make a mark in the world of eSports and professional gaming. This event, called the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 (PMCO 2019) Fall Split, has currently reached the Regional Group Stages. Here, India has been put within the South Asia regions as far as the qualifiers are concerned. These Regional Group qualifiers take place between 24 September till 29 September 2019.

Within the South Asia group, Indian players would be joined by the likes of players from countries viz Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives. At this point in time, details about the exact Indian players are yet to surface. Also, registrations are over now. We would be updating the list of Indian players having registered for the PMCO 2019 Fall Split tournament, soon.
Important dates
As far as the PMCO 2019 tournament is concerned, there would be PUBG Mobile player contingents from regions such as South East Asia, China, South Asia (under which India is placed), North America, South America, Middle East, Europe, and North Africa. Then, there is the Wild Card entry comprising of teams from the Rest of the World. Post the Regional Group Stage which takes place from 24 September to 29 September, the Regional Semi-Finals, Regional Finals, and Global Finals take place from 1 October – 6 October, 12 October – 3 November, and in December 2019 respectively – thereby making for a long calendar. Finally, there would be as many as 16 teams playing in the their-person-perspective (TPP), over 4 in-game maps. Total prize money is $2.5 million (approximately Rs 25 Crores). In related news, Indian content creators Dynamo Gaming and Kronten Gaming impressed during the mini-series. Team SOUL’s performance was average during the tournament so was TeamIND.
