PUBG First Story Mode Trailer Signifying Update 4.1 Now Live, Showcases Origins Of The Battlegrounds
PUBG'S Update 4.1 trailer now live, traces origins of The Battlegrounds.
Story mode is finally coming to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) as the Season 4 trailer is here signifying the arrival of the PC Update 4.1 that is now on test servers and imminent to get ported to the public servers very soon.

The trailer signifies the beginning of age from 1965 where the protagonist (then a young boy) watches a horrific enemy invasion of his island. He, then realises that he is the lone survivor out of this battle. The abandoned island also made the boy a survivor, with its challenges. Out of this storyline, the current PUBG aura and environments are born. The Battlegrounds take advent.
The teaser seems interesting and has already gone viral from the time it was launched. It has amassed close to a million views on YouTube as well.
The Season 4 Update is slated to be seeded to PCs from 25 July. Other changes in the Update 4.1 aka PC Update 4.1 include:
- Visual updates to the Erangel map
- An improved Military Base
- Terrain changes/enhancements
Then, there is the Survivor Pass 4: Aftermath that unlocks from 23 July till 15 October and introduces a New Co-operative Mission System, Improved Mission Change System, and better loot mechanisms. Click here to check out the full patch notes of the PC Update 4.1.
At this point in time, there is also an update to PUBG Mobile – called the Update 0.13.5 is live and comes with the Royale Pass Season 8 that encompassed even the new PP-19 Bizon gun. The update is now seeding in India.
