Sony’s PS Plus Free Games For January 2018 Surface: What's In Store

The free Sony PlayStation Plus games applicable to gamers owning PlayStation 4 (PS4), PS3, and PS Vita consoles are now official, and gauging the lineup it seems that the games offered are more on the action-adventure and strategy in-game sides. These free titles would unlock from January 1 2019, till February 5 2019.

For the uninitiated, the free Sony PS Plus games are applicable to PS Plus members. Check out the free titles below:

For Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) PS Plus members:

• Amplitude - Belongs to the music genre
• Zone of the Enders HD Collection - Belongs to the role playing genre

For Sony PlayStation 4 PS Plus members:

• Steep - Belongs to the sports genre
• Portal Knights - Belongs to the action, survival genres
• Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion - Belongs to the action, role playing genres

For Sony PlayStation Vita PS Plus members:

• Super Mutant Alien Assault - Belongs to the action genre
• Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion - Belongs to the action, role playing genres.

In related developments, the purported next-gen Sony PS5 gaming console is hugely rumoured to be launched in 2019; and at this juncture, rumour mills are abuzz with the fact that the next-gen console would offer backwards compatibility for the current-gen PS4 games. Also, it is worth noting that Sony has officially decided to skip the E3 2019 conference; where Microsoft states that it would have “lots to share” at the event.

With respect to the Sony PS5, game tipsters are even speculating that Death Stranding and The Of Us 2 would be compatible with PS5.
