Captain Marvel has finally hit the big screen for the first time starting today (March 8th) and we are pretty sure, like always, Marvel fans are going to love Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest celebrity superhero (absolutely no spoilers here). Well, hardcore Marvel fans don’t need any introduction on Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, but there are many newcomers out there who haven’t probably heard about her before. Superhero movies “ain’t no fun” without experience and 3D is already ageing. Now, we are living in a world where different virtual reality (VR) technologies are going mainstream across some parts and driving people crazy! This video that has grabbed our attention is a short 1 minute 30 seconds clip offering viewers a glimpse of Captain Marvel in 4DX. Once again, absolutely no spoilers here! It’s a trailer specifically made for 4DX audience.

What is 4DX, you may ask? Well, 4DX is a motion technology that aims to offer an immersive movie-watching experience augmented with surround effects like moving seats, wind, rain, lights, etc. To be honest, I watched a 4DX movie once and I didn’t like it very much because the audio and environmental effects didn't sync. However, it was two years ago and in India, and this segment isn’t going mainstream anytime soon either.

Coming back to Captain Marvel in 4DX, as you can see, the video begins with certain 3D pop-out effects, followed by motion chair, fog and so on. And given the fact that it’s a 360-degree video, it’s better viewed in a VR headset to get a clearer picture of how the experience could be like. Watch the video below:
