Jio launched its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) broadband internet service on September 5. With JioFiber, the company aims to offer 'high-speed' internet connectivity up to 1 Gbps. Additionally, it also bundles the range of services like free voice, TV calling, gaming, entertainment, among others. But how to sign up for JioFiber connection? We show you a step-by-step procedure to register for JioFiber and get Jio's 'high-speed' broadband internet service at home or office. If you are an existing JioFiber connection, you can still upgrade your plan.

Easy steps to register for JioFiber

1. Go to https://www.jio.com/fiber/en-in/book-now
2. Click on the menu 'Get started' under 'Get a new JioFiber connection?'
3. Now, enter your address for JioFiber
4. You can manually add the website or move the pin on the map
5. Alternatively, you can also let the Jio website access your location
6. Select whether it's home address or work address
7. Jio will ask you to enter all your details
8. Fill in your name, contact number, email address, etc.
9. Select your plan (Read our previous article to know more about JioFiber plans)
10. Click on the option 'Generate OTP.'
11. Verify the OTP
12. You shall receive a confirmation message that your interest has been registered

How to choose JioFiber plans

JioFiber has a total of six plans to offer: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Titanium (from low to high prices). The base plan Bronze, it starts at Rs 699. It can offer internet speeds up to 100 Mbps. JioFiber Rs 699 plan has a high-speed data limit of 150GB. Once you have reached this data limit, you can continue to access the internet using JioFIber at reduced data speed of 1 Mbps.

Meanwhile, the top-end JioFiber plan Titanium costs Rs 8,499 and it offers 5,000GB monthly data at maximum speeds of 1 Gbps. You can choose these plans as your requirements. All JioFiber plans provide benefits such as data, voice, TV video calling, gaming, home networking, device security services. Only Diamond, Platinum and Titanium plans offer some additional benefits like VR experience and premium content.
