Apple has confirmed that it determined certain hardware issues on its iPhone X and MacBook Pro (13-inch) devices. But before fans lose their cool over it, Apple has got a magic wand in the form of a new module replacement program to fix this problem. The company has announced a new display module replacement program on its website. Bloomberg was the first to report on this program. As part of Apple’s display module replacement initiative, all affected iPhone X users will be eligible for the replacement of a display module at no additional cost.

Apple highlighted certain issues with the iPhone X’s display. Apple said that display on some of the iPhone X units do not respond or responds intermittently to touch. Yet another issue that the users are facing is that the display on some units would respond even when they are not touched. Apple said that it will replace the display module on eligible devices for free of cost. The company has explicitly stated that no other iPhone models fall under this display module replacement program.

Affected users are also requested to connect with Apple support to arrange mail-in service via its Repair Center. As for the MacBook Pro users, a technician will update the drive firmware that approximately makes up to an hour. The laptop shall be given back to the user post reinstallation of macOS.
