Xiaomi is hosting a smarter living 2020 keynote event in India on September 17 where it is likely to make some sort of announcement around its Mi TV lineup - we’re not completely sure if it’s a new product or something related to its existing portfolio. What we do know now is that Xiaomi will also launch the Mi Band 4 in India on September 17.
Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain has taken to Twitter to tease the product and even though he does not explicitly name it, the accompanying teaser image leaves nothing to the imagination. That and the fact that the upcoming product is something Xiaomi fans “have been waiting 4,” further cements the nature of the announcement.

The Mi Band 4 is already a go in China and Europe, so we already know everything about it from a hardware perspective - we also obviously know its price. And since Xiaomi India is known to price its products in line with their China pricing mostly, something very similar will expected from the Mi Band 4 as well.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 specs and features
The main highlight of the Mi Band 4 is its colour OLED display that’s nearly 40 per cent bigger than the outgoing Mi Band 3 – more precisely, the Mi Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED colour display with a 120x240 pixel resolution.
The Mi Band 4 retains the continuous heart rate monitor and sleep quality index features of the Mi Band 3 and adds a new six-axis accelerometer into the mix for enhanced tracking, including swimming stroke recognition - the Mi Band 4 is 5ATM-certified. There’s also a built-in microphone now so users will be able to access voice commands and also control IoT devices with the Mi Band 4. There’s also NFC on-board for enabling digital payments and generally faster connectivity – NFC is limited to the top-end model only though.
Speaking of battery life, the Mi Band 4 standard edition boasts of a 20-day battery life while the NFC variant is claimed to offer 15-day battery life on single charge.
