After Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi To Bring New Black Shark Gaming Smartphone To India
There could be new Xiaomi gaming smartphones in India branded by Black Shark. These could be affordably priced. Hence, 2019 holds potential for Xiaomi's scheme of things in India.
After disrupting the smartphones segment, mainly the affordable phones domain in India, Xiaomi now looks set to enter the gaming smartphones sector in the country. This would be through the Black Shark gaming smartphones brand.
As per new reports, that apparently quote official Xiaomi press release, the Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone would be launched in India when the company’s headquarters gets setup in Bengaluru. The official launch date of Black Shark's India operations is slated to be made official shortly.
In addition to gaming smartphones, there could also be a multitude of Black Shark gaming peripherals such as game controllers which could come to the fore during the official launch of the Black Shark gaming smartphone (backed by Xiaomi). Hence, with Xiaomi - Black Shark’s gaming smartphone in India, currently popular titles such as the likes of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Fortnite, and even Apex Legends could potentially get a shot-in-the-arm as far as game compatible mobile devices are concerned.
At this juncture, it is worth noting that Black Shark already has a presence in countries such as China and the European Union along with the United Kingdom. The brand’s Black Shark Helo which is a recent offering comes with an Adreno 630 GPU and a Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC. Once official in India, the next-gen Black Shark gaming mobile device could follow Xiaomi’s affordable pricing pattern that has so far been a reported success in the country.
