Alongside OnePlus 7 And OnePlus 7 Pro, There Is Another Variant Which Is Potentially The “First In The World” Of Its Kind
The OnePlus 7 5G edition would be launched in partnership with EE in the UK in regions dominated by Indians.
If you thought that the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro were the only smartphones to be launched on 14 May, then you should keep in mind the fact that there has been one more variant of the smartphone which could be amongst a select few “first in the world”. This edition is the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G edition would be an actual smartphone, not restricted to being a prototype, and would be released in the United Kingdom (UK) with operator EE claiming to be the first operator in the world to offer its subscribers a 5G-enabled OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone.
This edition – possibly an unlocked variant could come to India when 5G wireless standards gets commercially deployed in India. At this point in time, 4G LTE is the latest wireless network technology.
Also, the 5G-compatible OnePlus 7 Pro could be relatively affordable to own under custom wireless contracts. At this point in time, price of the 5G OnePlus 7 Pro is yet to come to the fore – but this could be competitive and potentially challenging the Apple iPhone series of handsets.
If you are an Indian and OnePlus loyalist living in the UK, then the 5G-enabled OnePlus 7 Pro would be available with the EE 5G network support in the cities of Belfast, Edinburgh, London, and Cardiff, along with Manchester and Birmingham. As 2019 progresses, EE’s 5G network services would now expanded to OnePlus 7 Pro users in the additional regions of Bristol, Nottingham, and Leicester as well.
In summary, EE would begin its 5G network services from Summer 2019, and if you are a resident of the above cities, you could check out the coverage soon.
