Android 9.0 Firmware Update Now Applicable To More Redmi Smartphones, Check Out The Latest “Eligible” Device

The Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system firmware update is now rolling out to more Redmi smartphones and this time it is the turn of the Redmi Y2 users to receive the newer firmware update. In case you are a user of the Redmi Y2, the “Pie” should now be available both automatically over-the-air (OTA) and manually as well.
The latest Android Pie OS update, as per official information, bears version number V10.3.3.PEFMIXM and should occupy a mammoth 1.4GB internal storage area within your Redmi Y2 smartphones. As far as newer aspects are concerned, the ability to lock Google Contacts should be live.
Also, the update claims to have fixed the issue wherein contacts could not be deleted from SIM cards of Redmi Y2 smartphones.
