Hours after announcing the AirPods Pro, Apple is rolling out iOS 13.2 for all iPhones, iPhone 6s and newer, that adds support for the company’s first pair of truly wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation. Apple silently launched the AirPods Pro last night. In India, the AirPods Pro will cost Rs 24,900 and will be available for buying ‘soon.’ In the US, the AirPods will start shipping from October 30 at a price of $249.

The AirPods Pro come with dedicated microphones that can detect external ambience and these can then cancel it out. Apple says, “noise cancellation continuously adapts the sound signal 200 times per second.” For those looking to continue being ‘aware’ of their surroundings, the AirPods Pro come with a feature called transparency mode that can be activated through force sensors built into the stem of the AirPods Pro.

This is also the first time Apple is offering flexible ear tips – in three sizes – in the box. The AirPods Pro are also IPX4-certified for sweat and water resistance.

iOS 13.2 brings Deep Fusion, new video resolution settings to iPhone 11

The iOS 13.2 update also brings Apple’s new Deep Fusion camera tech to its newest iPhones – iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. This is possibly the biggest headlining feature of iOS 13.2. Deep Fusion will make use of the Neural Engine inside the A13 Bionic – which is the processor that drives the iPhone 11s – to help boost low-light photography in Apple’s newest iPhones.

Deep Fusion allows the iPhone 11s to simultaneously shoot 9 images of a shot in low light and then intelligently it can combine the best bits together to form a single high-resolution image with seemingly more detail and less noise than what you’ll get by conventional means. Since Deep Fusion also uses hardware, and also since this hardware is found only in the newest iPhones, the feature is exclusive to the iPhone 11s.

Another small, but important camera feature coming to the iPhone 11s through the iOS 13.2 update is better video controls. iPhone 11 users can now access video resolution settings directly from within the camera app, thanks to iOS 13.2. For some reason, this won’t be available on older iPhones.
