Taiwan-based HTC has confirmed its participation at the CES 2019 where it has already teased that there would be lots to unbox. Now the company has teased an image on Twitter which is indicative of new VR gear

Gauging HTC’s latest teaser, it is evident that the there would be multiple HTC Vive products showcased at the event. Here, it is worth noting that these could b VR gear targeted at a wider cross-section of users. Now, this makes sense considering the fact that not too long ago rumour mills were abuzz with HTC exiting the smartphone segment.

As far as the HTC Vive new gear is concerned, there could also be multiple compatible hardware showcased (or possibly launched) during the CES 2019. The official teaser released by HTC seems to indicate new VR wearables, but official confirmation from the company is yet to come at this point in time.

“The truck is loaded and we’re excited to be on our way to CES 2019. The cases are packed with some new gear we can’t wait to unbox for you,” states HTC in its official Twitter teaser.

At this juncture, it is also worth remembering that not too long ago rumour mills were abuzz with new smartphones from HTC to be released during early 2019. Here, the key element is 5G; with 2019 and 2020 expected by consumer electronics loyalists to be showcase years (and possibly deployment in certain economies) of 5G, it is worth checking out if HTC comes out with 5G-compatible smartphones; which would be in tune with new trends as well as potentially taking the company towards a revival of its smartphone user base.

Also, HTC recently launched the Desire 12S mid-range smartphones that offer both 3GB as well as 4GB variants to buyers. Key technical specifications of the HTC Desire 12S are:
