New Samsung Smartphone Surfaces On Geekbench, Adds To Galaxy M40 Rumours

A new development adds substance to the existence of the Samsung Galaxy M40 smartphone, and this development is also offering apparent hints at what the technical specifications of the smartphones could be like.  

Now, a Samsung smartphone bearing model number SM-M405F has surfaced on Geekbench (via NashvilleChatterClass); and this handset is rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy M40. This device also reportedly notched up scores of 6410 (multi-core_ and 2350 (single-core) on Geekbench.  

As far as its key technical specifications are concerned, this Geekbench listing states that the SM-M405F would be driven by Android (9.0) Pie operating system with 6GB RAM on board. Also, under-the-hood, this phone incorporates an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC clocked at nearly 2GHz.  

Other technical information regarding this phone specifically are yet to surface; but USP of this new rumour is the fact that more substance gets added to earlier speculations that have mentioned about the existence of the Samsung Galaxy M40 phone; but Samsung is yet to officially throw light on this development.  

Here, it is known that the Galaxy M30 is the currently existing smartphone in the Galaxy M series – along with the likes of the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. For the uninitiated, the Galaxy M30 comes with key technical specifications siuch as:
