Nokia 6.2 Launching Soon: Smartphone Rumoured To Be Potentially Advanced Yet Affordable Like The Nokia 6.1
Nokia 6.2 is speculated to get a Spring 2019 launch, along with being affordably priced. The smartphone is also rumoured to follow the Nokia 6's Nokia experience lineage.
The Nokia 6.2, the potential successor to the Nokia 6.1, is now rumoured to be launched during the Spring of 2019. This smartphone is also speculated to be following in the footsteps of the current-gen Nokia 6 with respect to maintaining relatively affordable price range whilst offering pure mid-range Nokia experience.
Now, a tipster going by the Twitter moniker Nokia Anew has taken to the micro-blogging site to even state that the price of the next-gen Nokia 6.2 would be in the same range as that of the current-gen Nokia 6.1. As of now, the Nokia 6.1 is priced at around Rs 17000. If this tipster’s rumours are anything to go by then the new Nokia 6.2 should also have a sub-Rs 20000 pricing in India.
The Nokia 6.2 is also said to be launched during the Spring of 2019 which is not too far away from now. However, these rumours could be considered with a pinch of salt as the purported Nokia 6.2 was earlier speculated to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019). The event witnessed a plethora of Nokia smartphones with the Nokia 9 PureView, offering a whopping 5 rear cameras, being the highlight.
Moving back to the Nokia 6.2, the key technical specifications of the smartphone are yet to surface (even unofficially) at this point in time. Hence, as days progress, it is worth for Nokia loyalists to keep their eyes and ears open for newer developments - especially as the Spring of 2019 approaches.
Here, with Nokia 6.1 being an important smartphone, it should be worthwhile to check out its key technical specifications:
The Nokia 6.1 offers a 5.5-inch display, runs on Android 8.1 that could be upgraded to Android 9.0, is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, and features 16 MP, 8 MP cameras. The phone falls under Google’s Android One ambit - meaning all newer firmware updates would automatically be available to users and is powered by a fixed 3000 mAh battery.
