The OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T just launched and already rumour mills are starting to get ripe with OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 news. OnePlus isn’t expected to launch the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 until next year, but a new set of renders doing the rounds of the internet, give us an early look at the phones’ design – way ahead of their official unveiling.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 won’t look very different from each other, according to the renders. This will be a change from the recently launched OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. While the Oneplus 7T Pro looks exactly like the OnePlus 7 Pro before it, the OnePlus 7T has a tweaked design with a Nokia Lumia-like circular camera module on the back that sets it apart from any other OnePlus phone we’ve seen before.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8, as per the renders, will have the same core design and OnePlus’ first punch-hole cut out on the front. That's right, while the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro come with a pop-up selfie camera setup, the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 will reportedly come with a Samsung Galaxy S10-like punch-hole display – which will be a first for any OnePlus phone.
Screen size will of course be different with the OnePlus 8 Pro said to get a larger 6.65-inch screen – this should be curved, although basis of the renders, it looks like both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will boast of curved screens. Whatever be the case, it’s certain that both the phones will have a 90Hz refresh rate display like the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.
A key difference in design (and hardware) is that the OnePlus 8 Pro is seen having quad rear cameras while the OnePlus has three.
Since nothing of this is official and there’s still some time before OnePlus starts talking about the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, we advise you to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.
