Dua Lipa – the international pop star is now confirmed to perform at the OnePlus Music festival in India. The OnePlus Music Festival takes place on 16 November 2019 at the D.Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai. This performance marks the first instance of Lipa’s performance in India. This festival would also have a performance from Katy Perry.

Making her debut in 2015 with Warner Music Group, her first single was called “New Love”. Dua got global popularity during the same year with her second single, “Be the One” which was a success throughout including in New Zealand, Australia, and Europe. Lipa’s popularity also remained intact during 2016 with her hit single “Blow your mind”. In 2017, there were the “Be the one”, “Bridge over troubled waters”, and “New Rules”. In 2018, Lipa got to number one on the UK charts with yet another single “One Kiss”. This performance garnered her the recognition of being the first female solo artist to reach numero-uno position in the UK since 2015.  

 “So excited to perform in India for the first time ever. I’m excited to get back on stage, I feel like it’s going to be such a fun night,” stated Lipa. Lupa’s creations have also garnered her prestigious awards such as the Grammy and the BRIT awards.  She has also collaborated with names such as  Calvin Harris Sean Paul, and others.“We are super excited that Dua Lipa will also be performing in our first-ever OnePlus Music Festival in India. The addition of Lipa completes the International Festival music offering. We will be announcing additional music from India soon. Tickets to the OnePlus Music Festival open for selling from 17 September at 12 PM IST. Fares start from Rs 2000. There is a 10% cashback for OnePlus users. Users could check out their OnePlus Insider accounts and PayTM to avail the offer.
