Realme X now getting new update, fixes WhatsApp call issue and more
Realme X users could now check for a new update that introduces the September patch along with the Digital Wellbeing. There are other new features as well.
Realme X users could now check for a new update that introduces the September patch along with the Digital Wellbeing. The new update should be available via automatic OTA. This rollout is also a phased one which means that it would take significant time for the update to roll out to all Realme X smartphones. This new update also fixes the issue of the camera rising up during a WhatsApp video call.
New Realme X update
If you use the Realme X handset, do check out the complete changelog of the new update. This bears version number RMX1901EX_11.A.08. The Realme X is a premium smartphone. Its price tag is close to Rs 18000 in India. USP of the Realme X is its 48MP rear camera. As far as the new update RMX1901EX_11.A.08 is concerned, it introduces newer aspects such as:
- Incorporation of the manual lock feature by long press the power button
- Displaying the data consumed by connected devices
- Data consumed reminder could be customized
- Screen on time would now be displayed
- Google Digital Wellbeing incorporated
- Incorporation of date and weather widget
- Smart Assistant interface optimized
- Modification in the notification center style
- Users could swipe left or right to eliminate the message prompt, once the message is received
- Optimization of Partial scene power consumption
In related Realme updates, the Realme 5 is eligible for the Flipkart Big Diwali Sale where the smartphone would be available to buy at discounted prices. There would be a Rs 2000 price cut on the original price of Rs 10999 of the REalme 5. This device is a pure mid-range handset. Its USP is four cameras at the rear and the 5000mAh battery.
