It looks like the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be exclusive to e-tailer Amazon in India, after its unveiling on 16 October. The e-tailer has clearly put up signs of the smartphone potentially set for a 16 October release in India via Amazon. At this juncture, USP of the Redmi 8 Pro is its 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear. Its Liquid-Cooled technology should also serve as an impetus to gamers preferring to indulge in high-end games such as Asphalt 8, Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile.
Redmi Note 8 Pro specifications
The smartphone is also driven by an octa-core MediaTek SoC. There is also a 6 GB, 8 GB RAM edition. These combined with the Liquid Cooled technology of the processor should offer (theoretically) an effective gaming experience. However, the true gaming performance offered would only be known in a real-world test. For now, Amazon India hints that the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be offered for purchase from 16 October. As of now, pricing details of the handset are yet to be made official, but the device could very much have a sub-Rs 20000 price tag. Once released the Redmi Note 8 Pro could compete with the likes of the Realme 5 Pro and more handsets of the brand. As for its specifications, its 64MP rear camera is definitely worth checking out. Key technical specifications of the Redmi Note 8 Pro are:
- 6.53-inch display having resolutions of 2340 x 1080 pixels
- Android 9.0 (Pie)
- Octa-core SoC
- 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP quad main cameras
- 20 MP front snapper
- 6 GB, 8 GB RAM editions
- 64GB, 128GB internal storage variants based on RAM
- Internal storage could be extended up to 256 GB
- LTE, HSPA, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 connectivity
- 4500mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.
