It seems that there would be more Galaxy A series of pure mid-range relatively affordable smartphones from Samsung and it looks like the a Galaxy A70 would also be one amongst the scheme of things here. Now, this purported Galaxy A70 is rumoured to have received the Wi-Fi certification.

This process, under normal confirmed circumstances indicates the existence and imminent launch of any smartphone (post the Wi-Fi certification). As per 91Mobiles, a Samsung handset bearing model number SM-A705FN/DS is said to have received Wi-Fi certification. This phone is believed by 91Mobiles to the Galaxy A70. Even other rumour mills are hinting that this model represents a Galaxy A70 variant.

Now, if this Wi-Fi certification is anything to go by, then the Galaxy A70- should run Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system directly when unboxed, along with offering support for dual SIM-cards. No other technical details have surfaced at this juncture, but these are expected by loyalists to come to the fore soon.

At this juncture, it is also worth noting that there could also be a Galaxy A40 handset in the Galaxy A series, along with the already launched Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50. These handsets are comparatively affordable. At this juncture, the key technical specifications of the handsets are worth checking out. In this regard, the Galaxy A10 features key technical specifications such as:

  • 6.2 inch HD Infinity V display
  • Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system, with Samsung One UI on top
  • Octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC
  • 13MP rear camera
  • 5MP front camera

  • 32GB internal storage
  • MicroSD card slot for expanding internal storage till 512GB
