Samsung could be on the verge to announce the Galaxy M10 in India. The support page for a mysterious phone bearing a model number SM-M105F/DS is now live on Samsung India’s website. This model number has long been associated with reports about Samsung Galaxy M10. Given SM-M105F/DS support page has now been live on the website, we can safely assume that Samsung Galaxy M10 India launch could be imminent.
Apart from the model number, Samsung India website doesn’t offer any other information such as hardware specs or the launch timeline. Earlier this week, SM-M105F cleared FCC certification dropping in some key details about the smartphone. According to the listing, it will sport 6 inches display and pack a 3,400mAh battery under the hood. The length and width of the handset measure 155.7mm and 75.8mm, respectively.
Earlier, the handset was also found listed on a benchmarking website. According to a benchmark listing, powering the handset is the Exynos 7870 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. The storage should be further expandable using a microSD card slot. Reports speculate Samsung Galaxy M10 is likely to run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Prior rumours suggest Samsung Galaxy M10 could opt for a 13MP primary shooter on the rear and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy M10 with dark grey and blue colour options, in addition to a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
In related news, Samsung Galaxy S10 may act as a wireless charging mat for other compatible devices like smartwatches and smartphones.
